Breathe With Ease

• Help a child with asthma run, play, and enjoy childhood again. Nurses provide structured medical case management, help parents and children learn to manage asthma, work to minimize environmental triggers, and collaborate with pediatricians and other specialists to design an ‘Asthma Action Plan’ that uses preventive care and medication management to improve the quality of life for children with asthma.

• Help CHIP reach the valley’s most vulnerable children and families in their homes. Underwrite the cost associated with home visitor travel between CHIP offices in Roanoke and Salem to families in Botetourt County, Craig County, Roanoke County, the City of Roanoke and the City of Salem.
