Volunteer Opportunities
Tug For Tots (May 14th at Salem High School’s Spartan Field, Salem, VA). Volunteers are needed from 10:00—2:00 to help transport materials to the field, assist teams with registration, act as team cheerleaders, set up and serve lunch to teams and spectators, and clean up/break down after the event.
Mailings Volunteers are needed to sort correspondence, stuff and address envelopes and otherwise prepare fundraising letters and other donor-related materials for mailing. Our next mailer will be in November, for our Holiday Appeal.

- GED Tutoring (standing commitment, 1-2 mornings/week)
- Office Maintenance
- Front Desk/Receptionist Support
- Spanish Speaking Translators
- Van Drivers for Parent Meetings (must be an organizational van—ie. A Church van—with working safety belts; driver must have a good working knowledge of streets and neighborhoods in Roanoke City, Roanoke County, and Salem).
