Target Population

CHIP focuses on young children, birth through kindergarten enrollment--the time in a child’s life when a positive intervention has the best chance of making a profound and lasting impact. 

CHIP also offers enrollment to women prenatally, through the Pregnant Moms Program. gross income at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level at enrollment, and below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level at annual recertification each year thereafter.
