We are so excited to announce our newest event for those who give so much- those in the Humanitarian Career Field! This seminar is open to professionals serving children and families. During this time of uncertainty and insurmountable challenges, the children, and families we serve find themselves vulnerable and professionals are finding themselves increasingly strained to meet the needs. CHIP’s history is rooted in walking alongside our most vulnerable, honing on skills of developing relationships and connections to facilitate small change and large change in the lives of those we serve and foster a sense of belongingness to community at large. We desire to share what we’ve learned, serving over 700 families in a year with YOU! As we continue to work hard to serve, we want to ensure the same children and families you and CHIP intersect with, are receiving services engaged in and supporting health and healing.
- We invite you to discuss cultural factors that contribute to how professionals deliver services, as well as, how culture impacts children and family responses.
- We plan to discuss how to develop collaborative efforts between agencies to form a continuity of care to foster a sense of safety and care for the most vulnerable in our shared community.
- Lastly, being honest about vicarious trauma professionals experience, more specifically how to manage it.
- Tickets are only $15 and include Brunch! We look forward to seeing you there!
