I am a Roanoke native and a stay-at-home parent to two young children with an emphasis on getting outdoors and learning through hands-on adventures. Before becoming a mother, I worked for Black Dog Salvage helping to find, plan and execute architectural salvage endeavors. My journey with CHIP began through a volunteer opportunity at my previous job, which led to becoming a marketing committee member and finally, was asked to join the board in 2018. I feel honored to be a part of CHIP’s board and mission because I am aware of my privilege to be able to care for my children in the manner that I want and I believe that every family deserves this opportunity.
