Rhonda Shannon joined Carilion Clinic in 1996 and currently serves as vice president of Finance.   In her present role, she is the finance leader for Enterprise Strategic Initiatives for the organization.  During Rhonda’s career at Carilion, she has worked in the Finance area in varying roles, from financial advisor to senior director of several clinical areas.  Her career has also included previous work in the long-term care arena as well as the managed care environment of behavioral health. When she’s not working, Rhonda enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling. She is actively involved in the community and resides in Roanoke with her husband, Mike.   She and Mike have a daughter who is a physician living in California and a son who is a software engineer living in northern Virginia.
