DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM SERVICES

CHIP of Roanoke is seeking a full time Director of Program Services.   The position will serve as a member of the organizations management team and will provide direct supervision, support, leadership and mentoring to Resource Nurse Advisor and Home Visiting Teams. This would include the assessment of staff competencies and training needs through documentation reviews, home visit observations, quality assurance telephone calls, review of data entry and monthly reports.  Conducting quarterly chart audits for each staff member, monthly conferences for feedback with individuals supervised and monthly team meetings. Position would ensure protocol development and training needs were met, monitors and problem solves outcomes, work closely with the Database Administrator to evaluate efficacy of various aspects of programs and redevelop as needed, and coordinate department interviews and onboarding procedures.

RESOURCE NURSE ADVISOR

CHIP of Roanoke is seeking a 30hr/wk Resource Nurse Advisor.   The position will provide guidance to clinical staff but does not serve as part of the organizations management team. This position will serve as a clinical resource person, mentor, coach and facilitator for RN department operations. The position will assist staff with resolving routine issues, case management guidance, overseeing RN’s medical record entries, providing medical education, participating in employee on-boarding procedures, overseeing the Health Care Advisory Committee and creating a positive and productive work environment.

 FAMILY CASE MANAGER (FCM)

Do you have a desire to assist families in our community?  Would you like to use your skills to help families achieve self-sufficiency?  CHIP of the Roanoke Valley is a home visiting program caring for pregnant women and families with children ages 0-7.  We are searching for a candidate who will create meaningful relationships with our clients to build on their strengths and create a difference in their lives.  Job duties include: home visits, prenatal/parenting education, developmental assessments and providing resources to families.  If you are interested in being a part of a culturally sensitive team that will help a family create meaningful change in their lives, then we would love to speak with you!

SUMMER SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

CHIP of Roanoke Valley is seeking a Summer Social Media Intern. The Social Media Intern will have the exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience by blending technical knowledge with marketing, graphic design, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing communications with a keen interest in learning other skillsets. This could be a remote position for the right candidate. *Responsibilities:
– Work alongside the team to create a plan for social media strategies
– Assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms
– Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant from the terminology used to images posted
– Interact with followers and potential clients by communicating and answering questions through the company’s social pages
– Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
 
*Requirements:
– Familiar with multi-social posting
– Comfortable with Canva or graphic design
– Ability work alongside a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once
– Entry level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the concepts throughout various forms of outreach
