CHIP of the Roanoke Valley is a home visiting program caring for pregnant women and families with children ages 0-7. We are searching for a candidate who will create meaningful relationships with our clients to build on their strengths and create a difference in their lives. Job duties include: home visits, asthma case management, prenatal/parenting education, conducting assessments on health, nutrition, psychological, environmental and economic demographics of clients, working with medical reports, providing education on potential health problems and understanding of specific health care needs and providing resources to families. Job Summary:

Minimum Requirements:
BSN with experience in pediatrics
Valid RN license for Commonwealth of Virginia
2 years related work Experience

CHIP of Roanoke Valley is seeking a Social Media Intern. The Social Media Intern will have the exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience by blending technical knowledge with marketing, graphic design, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing communications with a keen interest in learning other skillsets. This could be a remote position for the right candidate. – Work alongside the team to create a plan for social media strategies
– Assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms
– Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant from the terminology used to images posted
– Interact with followers and potential clients by communicating and answering questions through the company’s social pages
– Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
– Familiar with multi-social posting
– Comfortable with Canva or graphic design
– Ability work alongside a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once
– Entry level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the concepts throughout various forms of outreach
