AUTUMN LAVERING ANNOUNCED NEW DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AT CHILD HEALTH INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP OF ROANOKE VALLEY
ROANOKE, VA (Feb. 05, 2017) – Child Health Investment Partnership (CHIP) of Roanoke Valley is happy to introduce its new Director of Development, Autumn Lavering. In her new role, Lavering will oversee all fundraising activities within the organization to promote the mission of Child Health Investment Partnership and meet required annual fund and endowment goals. Additionally, she will act as a member of the organization’s management team.
“Being a mother of three young children and the oldest of six siblings, I have a strong passion for children and family involvement,” Lavering said. “I believe that a strong foundation helps shape a child’s future success.”
Her previous work experience provides her with the skills needed to continue building that strong foundation. Born and raised in the area, Lavering attended Virginia Western Community College and Liberty University with professional experience in event planning and coordination, in addition to operations management and budget planning. In her previous role as a catering sales manager, she planned and cultivated several large fundraising galas and corporate events in the Roanoke Valley.
“I am excited to join the team and help make the organization’s 30th Anniversary one for the books,” Lavering said in regards to her new position.
